Code 95 CPD Training
Are you a professional driver with a Category C or D driving licence? Then you are legally required to complete 35 hours of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) every five years. With HefPro, you can fulfil those hours through practical, on-site training — directly applicable to your daily work.
The CPD requirement explained
Code 95 is a European requirement for professional drivers holding a Category C or D driving licence. The number 95 refers to the European directive from which the requirement originates. Every five years, you must demonstrably complete 35 hours of CPD. These hours are registered with the CCV and appear on your driving licence or driver qualification card as code 95.
You do not need to complete the 35 hours all at once. You may spread them over five years in blocks of at least 7 hours per session. Each training day counts as one 7-hour block.
CPD training that actually delivers
We provide accredited Code 95 CPD training for forklift and reach truck operators. After the training, we take care of registration with the CCV on your behalf — you don't need to do anything extra. The hours are automatically added to your driving licence record.
The training takes place at your site, on the machines you use every day. That way, the CPD is directly applicable — not just a box to tick, but a genuine refresher of your knowledge and operating skills.

After the training you receive a certificate of participation. We submit the completed hours to the CCV. Processing typically takes a few working days. Once the hours have been recorded, you will receive confirmation.
Please note: your driving licence must be valid and your code 95 must not have expired at the time of the training. Has your code 95 already lapsed? Get in touch — we'll look at the options together.
