Refresher Without Downtime
Keeping your people certified, without halting production. That's what Refresher Without Downtime is all about.
Certification without halting work
If you take the entire team off the floor at once for a refresher day, you lose half a day of production. For many businesses, that simply isn't an option — deadlines, staffing constraints, continuous processes. The result: training gets postponed, certificates expire and risk on the work floor increases.
With Refresher Without Downtime, employees rotate one at a time. While one employee completes the theory and takes their turn on the machine — on average around one hour — the rest carries on as normal. Nobody is away from their workstation any longer than necessary, and by the end of the day everyone holds a valid certificate.
The difference at a glance
Traditional refresher
- ✗Entire team off the floor for half a day
- ✗Production comes to a standstill
- ✗Difficult to schedule around busy periods
- ✗One fixed date for everyone
Refresher Without Downtime
- ✓Everyone away for a maximum of 1 hour
- ✓Production continues as normal
- ✓Flexible scheduling on any working day
- ✓Employees rotate one by one
How a day runs
We come to your site with your own machines. The day is compact and clearly structured — nobody is left waiting.
Brief shared theory session
The day starts with a short theory refresher for the whole group. Maximum 30 minutes — efficient and to the point. That way, everyone starts on the same page.
One by one, each takes their turn
Then employees rotate through individually. While one person undergoes their practical assessment (~1 hour), the rest continues working. No downtime, no queues.
Certificate per person
Immediately after the assessment, each employee receives their certificate. We handle all the administration too — you don't have to do a thing.
Why companies choose this
- ✓No productivity loss — the rest of the team carries on as normal
- ✓At your own site and on your own machines, so directly recognisable and hands-on
- ✓No need to take an entire shift off for a full crew
- ✓Everyone stays certified without any scheduling headache
- ✓Personal attention: one-on-one during the practical assessment
Is this right for your business?
This concept is ideal for distribution centres, production companies and warehouses with continuous processes — businesses where the floor never really stops.
Do you have multiple certified employees whose certificates need renewing, but you can't afford to have them all off the floor at the same time? Then this is exactly what this concept was designed for.
