EPT & Stacker Training – Half a day
Certified in half a day, practice-focused and on your own machines. For employees in retail, production and logistics who work daily with an electric pallet truck or stacker.
How the training day unfolds
The training lasts half a day — approximately four hours — and takes place entirely at your location, using your own machines in the familiar environment. That means everything is immediately recognisable and directly applicable to your workplace.
Theory (approx. 1–1.5 hours)
The day starts with a shared theory session. The trainer covers how the EPT and stacker work, safety rules, floor traffic rules, and the risks of daily use. Real-world examples keep the content grounded and immediately practical. The session ends with a theory exam.
Practical on your own machine (approx. 2–2.5 hours)
After the theory, participants work individually on the machine. Topics covered include: driving and manoeuvring on the shop floor, safely picking up and setting down pallets, working in confined spaces and at loading bays, and correctly stopping and parking. The trainer guides and assesses each participant directly during the practical.
Assessment and certificate
Anyone who meets the assessment criteria for both theory and practical receives an accredited EPT certificate immediately. The certificate is fully arranged by HefPro, including all administration.
Theory & preparation
Theory is covered in a practical, hands-on way — but self-study is required to pass the theory exam. Every participant receives a study guide in advance to prepare.
