Order Picker Basic Training – 1 day
Never worked with an order picker before? In a single day your employees learn to drive safely, collect picking items at height and handle fall protection correctly. Accredited certificate included.
One day, safe at height
The order picker is unique: the operator rides up together with the forks. That sets this machine apart from an ordinary forklift and calls for specific attention to safe behaviour at height, fall protection and working in racking environments.
The basic training takes one full day. We start with a theory block on the machine and the safety rules, followed by extensive practical training on your own equipment. The day concludes with a theory exam and a practical assessment.

- Working at height – fall protection and harness
- Daily vehicle check and inspection
- Picking up and setting down loads in narrow aisles
- Recognising risks when order picking at height
- Emergency situations and breakdown procedures
What does the day look like?
Theory block → theory exam → practical training → practical assessment. Once you pass the exam and the assessment, you receive an accredited certificate straight away. Every participant receives study material in advance to prepare.
