Reach Truck Basic Training – 2 days
New to the reach truck? The two-day basic training gives operators a solid foundation for working safely and efficiently with this high-bay machine.
Two days, solid foundation
Day one focuses on theory and a first hands-on introduction to the machine. Day two is all about driving skills, working with loads, and the final assessment.
You will learn to drive in narrow aisles, stack and pick up loads safely at height, apply the stability calculation, and recognise and prevent hazardous situations.
What will you learn?
- Safe driving and manoeuvring in narrow aisles
- Stable stacking and picking up loads at height
- Stability calculation for different loads
- Vehicle inspection and pre-use checks
- Recognising and preventing risks
- Safety rules and procedures in the warehouse
What does the training day look like?
The training consists of a theory section, practical training, and concludes with a theory exam and a practical assessment. Self-study is required to pass the theory exam. Each participant receives a textbook in advance to prepare.
