Every company starts with an idea and the will to stand for something. For HefPro, that was the conviction that working with internal transport could be taught in a safer, more personal and more practice-oriented way than often happens. By now we've grown into a training company that delivers courses throughout the Netherlands, with an ever-broader range. A good moment to tell you who we are and where we come from.
Where it began
HefPro grew out of years of experience on the work floor. Not from a classroom or a textbook, but from the daily practice of logistics: working with forklifts and reach trucks, managing teams and training people. Over those years, one thing became increasingly clear. Employees who don't just learn how to operate a machine, but also why safe working matters, function better and cause fewer incidents. HefPro grew out of that conviction.
The ambition to build a company of our own had been there for a while. Training people and working on the floor were always the most enjoyable parts of the job. HefPro became the way to bring those two together: our own training company, fully focused on what we love doing most — teaching people about safe working.
Our approach
What sets HefPro apart is the way we train. We come to the client. No external training venue, no large classes where people disappear into the crowd, but training on your own work floor, with your own equipment and in the company's own environment. That makes it concrete and directly applicable. What someone learns at their own workplace, they can use the very next day.
We deliberately work with small groups. That's not a limitation but a choice. This way every participant gets enough attention and practice time, no one gets lost, and everyone goes home with more knowledge and more confidence. Personal, practice-oriented and always with safety as the starting point.
A growing range
HefPro started with training for forklift and reach truck, but has grown considerably since. By now we also provide courses for the electric pallet truck and the stacker, and two important additions have recently been made. We now give official aerial work platform training for categories 1B, 3A and 3B, and we are accredited for Code 95 refresher training, registered with the CBR, so that professional drivers can also come to us for their mandatory refresher hours.
That makes HefPro an almost complete partner for everything to do with internal transport and working at height. And it doesn't stop there. We keep developing our range, always from the same idea: making knowledge accessible and making safety self-evident.
Where we're heading
The ambition reaches further than where we stand now. HefPro doesn't just want to be a trainer, but a recognisable name when it comes to safe and skilled work in logistics. Step by step we're building that: more training, more topics, more companies we get to help. With both feet on the work floor, because that's where it began for us and where it will always be about.
